RAWR!! CHECK OUT ME PHOTOSHOP BACKGROUUUUNDS!!!

Just a sneek peek of what's to come! Niran's Tale-the side story to Dendyn Dynasties, starring the young, cold intolerant dragon Niran who for some reason is sitting out in the rain in his skimpy training outfit, suffering from hypothermia. WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START THE MOVIE!

I tried really hard to make this as professional looking as possible. In the process I discovered a new technique (to me at least) for ultra smooth animation that I'll be using from now on.

Ugh...my trial copy of Acid Xpress has reached its MP3 limit. No matter how many times I re-download the thing, it won't let me make any more music. *SOB* I may have to just do the next few scenes without music until I get back to school...

ANYWAY, THERE'S WAY MORE COMING, SO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR MY UPDATE SLIPPERS!

Dendyn Dynasties and all related characters/music are (C) Ryanide 2005/6. Do not distribute or steal.

PS: For some reason, this really lags on Deviantart! Watch it on medium quality. There's no voice acting yet because I don't have my mic set with me...doh!

PPS: or even better, download it to desktop and make the window smaller.

The photoshop backgrounds seem to be taking up a lot of space... I wish there was something I could do to smooth the animation out when it's online like this.

Very pretty. Love what you did with the shading and the magic effect. Awsome! I need to learn flash too, I have several idea I want to learn as well. You're pretty damn good with animation and it looks so real-like, especcialy with the tail movement.

Keep it up, can't wait to see more!

Thank you. I love animating tails and traily bits. I always make sure my characters have some sort of traily bit that I can animate, not only does it look nice, but it seems to give the illusion of realism because the veiwer's like "OOOH, ANIMATED TAIL/SCARF/CAPE!" Fun!

Aww, NIRAN! Hes my most favouritest character of yours, I'm glad hes got his own spinoff animation. :aww:
It certainly looks professional, the rain looked great, as did his shivery movements...aww...I feel so sorry for him, I hope nothing bad happens to him. ;P
Awesome work as per usual, can't wait to see the additions. :D
