More character concept art for the collaboration I'm going to be doing with Proffate.

This is Lear X-2, a mechanoid created by Baron Le Quinn and one of Le Quinn's head commanders. Unlike his playful master, Lear is cold and serious and takes precarious care to calculate, scan and plan his actions before making any moves. His design incorporates many metal-to-liquid functions that allow him to morph various parts of his body into offensive weaponary, and he also has the ability to grow and power his own missiles and explosives, which can vary in intensity from simple incendary devices to powerful energy beams. He is Ibex's rival, and is itching to get his revenge after Ibex defeated him several times in previous encounters.

This one is really awesome! I love the sleekness in his healmet, and the chiken legs are a pluss! The shading is awesome, and lighting makes him look all sparkly pants, shiny!

The colouring style really shines here! It looks like it could be game art.

It's the eyes.

Meta-knight is in the next Smash Bros Game! What a pity that I don't *really* like his character design, but oh well, I said that about Fox back when I first played Smash Bros 1. Now he's like...my second favourite character?
