So I had this really sudden and bizzare dream one day. (It dosed off during the day) and while I was out, I saw this character doing something, but I don't know what. The "camera" was all over him, zooming in on his face, catching him from dynamic angles, it was like an awesome action sequence but without any action.

As soon as I woke up, I sketched this character in my book. And now I can't stop drawing him.

His name is Yoshida Sniper, and he's a character from Destruction Force Hyper. In many ways, he's similar to Nabeshin from Excel Saga in the fact that he actually has no real reason to be in the story at all.

Yoshida's single purpose in DFH is to kick ass. No matter what the situation, if things are getting out of hand, Yoshida will always be able to set things straight in the most violent way possible. Not only does he have mad skillz, but it seems like he can just do ANYTHING and be anywhere at the drop of a stinger shell.

Whenever Yoshida enters any scene, DFH becomes about HIM, no matter what was going on previously. The animation quality will improve by 100% and his theme tune will always play in the background.

I've already tried animating this guy, and his lanky proportions and square anatomy make him REALLY fun to animate. I'll make sure to post the draft for his first debut when it's ready, but at the moment I'm still just experimenting. I haven't started animating DFH just yet.

Because DFH is set in such a random universe (It takes place inside the internet) the characters change proportions and style depending on what website they're on. Yoshida is one of the few characters who is an exception to this rule. No matter what website he's on, Yoshida will always be in these proportions. This means that by default, he towers over most of the other characters in DFH. When Team DFH turn into their anime forms, they're about the same height as him.

I've actually designed a whole lot of characters for DFH, so I'll be posting more sketches of them soon.
