Allowed adult 18+ artwork?

I checked my watchlist lately and found a lot more mature filtered works from people I watch...usually I unckeck them if I think I can trust it to be a tasteful or humorous artwork, but a few of them had 18+ warnings on them this time...I don't check DA's messages so I wouldn't know, but darn I'm pretty pissed off about this!

I've always cherished DA over the other popular art sites because it didn't allow adult content. But now this is just dumb!

EDIT: subject resolved. I've had the system explained to me and checked up on the new rules posted on the notices. I was under the misconception that DA only allowed a 15+ mature artwork scope.

I endorse the new inclusion by DA for artists to label their mature artworks for it's content. It's a good idea.

I think you need to be 18+ to see "artistic" nudity anyway. I would mature things like the f word too. I doubt DA would go as far to allow porn though. If they do, that is the day I leave.

I happen to agree. But at least the new system makes it so people can lock artwork so that people under 18 can't see it. There was always the warnings before, but just a click and anyone could see it.

well, if its really bad, they can still check the strict mature censoring so if your under 18 you cant see it. and i dont think its that bad since it tells you what its matured for xP. but still, your right
