New 5-minute trailer. This is some AMAZING footage right here. All your questions about Sonic, Lucas and Snake answered in this thing.

Points of note:

1) Wow, Sonic is FAST, but awkward. His attacks seem to have really poor priority.

2) Lucas. Holey moley, Lucas! Better than Ness ever was in every conceivable way (except ending lag on attacks). PK Freeze, PK Fire and PK thunder are super fast, and his attacks actually have range and power! His voice is a little weird but would you look at how fast PK Freeze is! It explodes almost instantly and compared to Ness's PK Flash it's so darn fast to charge and release, and it has great range too! His recovery looks a lot better too...

3) Giga Bowser is an absolute beast.

4) Fox's aerial attacks seem to be easier to land and his ground attacks seem stretchier. He hasn't lost his quick walking speed, but he's not as powerful as he used to be.

5) The Fire Emblem and Halberd stages have awesome music. Just epic. I love how they did the Fire Emblem field battle theme!

6) Ike's final smash is quite possibly the coolest thing you'll see for a while.

5) Kirby looks to be much improved. His Final Smash is really cheap it seems, and his attacks seem to be faster and hit harder. I like the fact that his final cutter now actually has a bit more knockback, especially on the shockwave (which is super fast and has a lot more range now)

6) Snake has a very interesting moveset. He has two remote mines (his down smash and his down B). His downsmash works like a proximity mine and explodes when stepped on, wheras his down B needs to be detonated by a flipswitch. I can see some real strategic play going on with this character!

I'm so hyped for Smash Bros Brawl! Pity we Aussies won't be getting it for at least another two months, heh heh...awww.
