Fox mushrooms

Done entirely in FLASH. MACROMEDIA FLASH, THE ANIMATION PROGRAM THAT EVERYBODY USES TO MAKE FLASH ANIMATIONS IN. INCLUDING ME.

At first glance these may appear to just be stylized foxes but REALLY, they are FOX MUSHROOMS! Mushrooms with vulpine characteristics that inhabit lush forests, using their agility and guile to feast on rotting vegetation and moss as well as small invertebrates...

Actually, they're part of DFH. XD These little guys actually have their own culture and are highly intelligent. In fact one of them is a main character in DFH (befriended by Mello, wishes to become an hero and joins the DFH.)

How are foxshrooms born? Well...when a fox loves a giant forest mushroom very much...
ACTUALLY, nobody really knows where they came from. Some suspect the mushrooms developed these characteristics because they got sick of just standing around all day. Even so, Foxshrooms aren't really very mobile at all compared to their vulpine cousins as they have no legs, and generally get around by hopping. They HAVE evolved small frontpaws though...

Additionally: they taste delicious. Just like normal foxes.

I was very bored. These things were concieved on an WIM paintchat with and . I liked them so much I just had to draw them properly. XD

When I get some time, you might get to see more of these as they're really fun to draw.
